The future of Reston will remain in limbo a little longer. Despite receiving the blessing of the Fairfax County Planning Commission,
changes to the Reston Master Plan have not yet passed muster with the
Board of Supervisors. Concerned about continued resident resistance to
some aspects of the plan, the supervisors have delayed a final decision
on the plan until Feb. 11, Fairfax Times reports.
The resident opposition is not new. Last summer, the Reston Citizens Association threatened to fight the adoption of the Reston Comprehensive Plan amendment unless changes were made. . . .
