Traffic at Standstill, Looking South at Reston Parkway & Market Street, Reston Town Center
May 9th:
Taken on a Monday at 5:20pm. Thought it would take 5 minutes (10 max) to get from New Dominion Parkway to an appointment near intersection of Reston Parkway & Sunrise Valley Drive (near Reston Association). It took 25 minutes to go .9 miles. There was NO alternative route. Many other drivers thought they could get around the traffic by cutting through the Town Center (wrong!).
