I want to take a moment here to thank all the members of Reston 20/20 and the other Restonians who supported Reston 20/20's efforts to put Phase 2 on hold until alternative financing could be found. While the Fairfax Board's decision was largely a forgone conclusion, your support in the form of letters and other contact with the Board or with us showed your courage, commitment, and foresight in keeping the dream alive of Reston as a progressive, growing planned community.
Thank you all for your support.
We will now look at how we can nudge the Board to actually find alternative funding sources despite their decision to shakedown toll road users. It will be even more difficult than the battle we have just fought, but we continue to hope and work for a positive outcome.
