Landlords hopeful Silver Line can buoy Reston’s office market

Reston may not be reaping the Silver Line’s rewards just yet, compared with its neighbor to the east, Tysons Corner, but Reston business leaders hope the town eventually becomes the center for development activity in Fairfax County, thanks to new construction and transit on the way.

The most interesting information in this preview is that Reston's office market has experienced a greater vacancy rate that Northern Virginia generally over the last five quarters as two charts at the end of the preview show. The data from Jones Lang LaSalle is as follows:
