A painstaking six-year process to plan the future of Reston faces a major hurdle as a leading neighborhood group challenges the latest development language as “amorphous, incomplete and ultimately dysfunctional.”
The Reston Citizens Association, a key cog in the Reston Master Plan Task Force, is threatening to fight the adoption of a Reston Comprehensive Plan amendment, and urge “the community to express its objections in the most vociferous means possible,” if the language is not changed to better reflect the needs of residents. . . .
