Although we usually focus on the future of our community in this blog, today we reach out to our fellow citizens in Boston and the thousands people who were there to run, watch, and celebrate its historic Boston Marathon. We offer our condolences, support, and prayers in their moment of tragedy. We know we can not adequately express our heartfelt sorrow for those who lost loved ones or those who were injured in yesterday's heinous act of cowardice, but today we are all Bostonians and we share your shock, grief, pain, and rage.
Together we will pray for the souls lost in this senseless act. Together we will mend the bodies and spirits injured in this meaningless violence. Together we will restore the vibrancy of Boston and its magnificent marathon for runners of all ages, experience, skill, nationalities, ethnicities, races, faiths, and genders. Together we will bring to justice the terrorist cowards who wreaked havoc on a day exemplifying the joy and challenge of the human experience. And together we will work more fervently to prevent future despicable acts of terrorism in Boston and everywhere else in our country.
We are with you, Boston. God bless you, and God bless America.
